Factory

Our manufacturing facility is centrally located in Wathena, Kansas, making it easy to custom build and ship quickly to anywhere in the USA. At our 131,000 square foot facility, we oversee everything from the truck chassis specifications to the quality of our steel & thickness of our paint.

The manufacturing process begins at the design stage where we use computer aided 3D design software and FEA (finite element analysis) to ensure strength and reliability. We then move on to the fabrication process using a computer controlled laser cutting table, computer aided folding table, break press, and rotary turret punch for design accuracy. Next comes the work of our highly trained aluminum and steel welders, robotic welding stations, state of the art paint process and chassis Prep area. The final assembly stage in our manufacturing process is overseen by quality assurance inspectors and specialized service and lube body technicians to ensure the quality workmanship you expect and deserve in every Summit body.

Each day the same craftsmen paint every Summit body and trained technicians mount our completed bodies to properly spec’d truck chassis ensuring quality routine work is done at all times. We work to achieve the same goals, consistency, and long lasting quality, and we believe we do it better than anyone else.
